The UCI World Championships Road Cycling 2011 took place in Copenhagen, Denmark from 19th-25th of September. 72 countries participated in either the Time Trial Events from the 19th until the 21st of September, or the Road Race events from the 23rd until 25th of September. The following categories were present: Junior Women, Elite Woman, U23 Men, Junior Men, Elite Men.

The event was timed by MYLAPS timing partner Swiss Timing, using MYLAPS infrastructure to make sure that the riders would be timed accurately. Swiss Timing is the official timing partner for both the Winter and the Summer Olimpics.
