The Vuelta País Vasco took place early April 2011. In totla 160 cyclists participated what comes down to 20 teams. The Vuelta is run over 5 regular stages and 1 individual timing stage. The 2011 edition was timed with the MYLAPS ProChip timing system and each cyclist was equipped with a ProChip. During the regular stages the timing system was used at the finish line and during the individual timing stage there was a decoder at the start line, an intermediate point, and at the finish line, to make it even more spectacular and exciting for the cyclists and the spectators.
